Welcome to the Lost Art Registry Indonesia (LARI)
We will post incidences of art theft that is reported to us, so that
• collectors, dealers and gallery owner/operators can become aware of incidences of art theft,
and avoid purchasing stolen goods,
• art collectors who have become a victim of theft can spread information about the works of
art that they have lost due to theft, and hopefully obtain their artworks back
• collectors, dealers and gallery owner/operators can help report if they have information about
the whereabouts of certain artworks.
We also assist victims of art theft in their efforts of retrieving their stolen artworks.
We hope to minimize and eventually put an end to art theft.
